This is a view looking East from the draw-bridge across Finn Slough. To the left of the boat is a Blue-stone tank.
The wooden Blue-stone (Copper Sulfate) tank in this photo was once used to soak linen gillnets in order to keep them from falling apart due to fungal growth.
To access the upper reaches of Finn Slough at high tide a draw-bridge is used. Planks are replaced after the boats go through to allow the residents to get on to Gilmore Island.
